LAST WEEK’S RECAP | Oct 8 – 14, 2012
SATURDAY
What a great Saturday party with many winter regulars returning. A large group of good friends from NY decided to make it a fun whole day in the Garden State and topped off their day with an evening of tennis with their NJ tennis friends.
It has been a while since I last watched matches so intensely at the tennis parties. This Saturday I started to watch Courts #7-9 from afar. As I walked closer and closer to the courts, I was full with so much excitement that I hadn’t realized I ran into the glass enclosure until I banged my forehead really good. LOL, I have to remind myself not to do that again!
Newcomers from the Bronx, New City, NY and Fort Lee had a great time. They said they will return.
SUNDAY
I was off about last Sunday’s weather being in the 50’s. It turned out to be a beautiful day with the temparature in the low 70’s. Everyone had fun and wondered if there would be one more week. This week I waited long enough (until middle of the week) to see what the Sunday weather will be. I’m looking forward to one more week of Packanack!
