LAST WEEK’S RECAP | February 3 – 9, 2014
I’m long overdue and people want to know what’s been happening! While I don’t have details, I would like to share a few thoughts.
A few things that speak volume about this group: Players come from as near as a 2-minute walking distance and as far as an hour drive, not to mention tolls across the Hudson River.
There are many newcomers and very old-timers that have started playing in the group.
It’s been a great winter season so far, with friends gathering for an evening of fun, and for social and yet competitive tennis. Many new friendships have formed in the last couple of months and hopefully more to come and lasting ones.
I feel fortunate to be in this role, where I get to see so many people throughout the year. I wish I have more time to spend with everyone, in and outside of the tennis parties. Life has been going at a fast pace for me lately but one day I hope to catch up with what I’ve missed.
In the meanwhile, let’s enjoy the winter tennis fun and make it through the snow storms in one piece!
